Brad, that's great. What do you think as far as the order of bending?
Lower bout, waist, cutaway?

I think it would work best to

Bend lower bout
Waist
Upper Bout
Cutaway

And ideally if the hinge point for the arms are position correctly then the arms will act like toggle clamps. This is not the way I had drawn in the previous post.

Probably more like this....

Brad, your first drawing seems like a better design to me. For one thing,
the uppermost pivot point on the second drawing is right where the
cutaway would be. Also, the first drawing has the arm come out right
where it should be, where the front end of the side would need to stick
straight out parallel to the centerline of the body.
